1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

2. How Kickle Uses Storage

Kickle is designed to be as privacy-friendly as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. Here is exactly what we store on your device:

NameTypePurposeExpires
kickle_player_*localStorageSaves your daily player-game guesses and progressPersistent (cleared manually)
kickle_team_*localStorageSaves your daily team-game guesses and progressPersistent (cleared manually)
kickle_cookie_consentlocalStorageRemembers that you accepted this cookie notice1 year

All storage listed above is local to your device only. None of it is transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.

3. Third-Party Resources

When you use Kickle, your browser may load resources from these external services:

  • flagcdn.com — used to display country flag images. Loading these images may expose your IP address to their servers as part of a standard HTTP request. They may set their own cookies; please refer to their privacy policy.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may collect basic request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

4. Managing Your Storage

You can clear all locally stored Kickle data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage. In most browsers: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data. Note that this will reset your game progress.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if we change how we use storage. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
