  • Profile data: display name, bio, and profile picture you voluntarily provide.
  • Game data: your daily guesses and scores, stored in an anonymous session if you are not logged in.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.

We do not collect payment information, run advertising trackers, or sell your data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To display your public profile page at /@username.
  • To save your daily game progress and history.
  • To improve the service and fix bugs.

4. Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you logged in and save your daily game state. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Football-Data.org: we fetch football squad data from their API. Your personal data is never sent to them.
  • flagcdn.com: country flag images are loaded from their CDN. Your IP address may be visible to them as part of the HTTP request.

6. Data Retention

Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at contact@kickle.net. We will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
